This is a great new role working for a highly successful medical communications agency with a global reach. You will be joining a supportive, friendly and experienced team and your medical writing background will set you in great stead within this rewarding position.

Your role will involve:

  • Working on fascinating and diverse projects spanning from early development stage to pre and post launch

  • Helping deliver interesting presentations, write inspiring briefs, and pull together creative strategies. You will be a trusted strategic advisor to clients and colleagues on a variety of therapy areas

  • Developing science-based content for allocated projects and accounts, which meets the brief

  • Providing scientific expertise to internal and external stakeholders

  • Working in partnership with account team members, ensuring the successful delivery of all allocated projects, and provide a solid foundation for ongoing business

  • Generating robust, fair and balanced scientific content for review by account leads; some examples include, agendas, publications, slides, messaging, meeting materials

  • Distilling complex science into clear, well-structured and meaningful communications

  • Ensuring communication and educational messages are relevant, actionable and demonstrate a positive impact on patient outcomes

  • Building strong effective relationships with clients and thought leaders

  • Ensuring the content meets the relevant compliance codes, e.g. ABPI, EFPIA

  • Becoming fully versed in the clients’ strategic objectives and aware of the competitor landscape

  • Keeping abreast of industry alerts and key new data emerging in your client areas

You will be the ideal candidate due to your:

  • (Ideally) graduate level education, with a PhD/MSc and/or BSc in science

  • Proven medical writing skills with at least two years’ experience

  • Ability to translate science with integrity, empathy and impact

  • Organised with excellent time-management skills

  • Good attention to detail

  • Proactive and enthusiastic

  • Competent in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Excellent written and spoken communication, including team communication
