Job Description
A great opportunity has arisen to join a friendly, small B2B team in a specialist SEO & content role. This will be a content heavy position and will not be a technical SEO role. Working alongside a digital agency, you will help to drive brand awareness and revenue through on-page and off-page content, keyword strategy and link building and will be supported by the global channel lead for SEO. The role will also provide the opportunity to diversify into other areas of digital marketing including managing email newsletters and running organic social media
Your role will involve:
Working alongside external agency to create growth from organic search:
Setting demands on external agency for on-page SEO and monitoring performance against SLAs
Undertaking keyword research to identify areas for growth
Optimising on-page content for identified keywords to improve website visibility and page rankings
Researching and identifying on-page content gaps to develop and executing an SEO- centred content plan
Writing engaging on-site and off-site digital content
Working with off-page SEO to build page authority, including link building and digital PR
Monitoring performance and continuing to optimise based on key KPIs
Creating commercial email marketing newsletters
Translating, localising and adapting digital marketing assets (including copy and creatives)
Performing regular website content updates
Managing the brand’s organic presence across social media platforms
You will be the ideal candidate due to your:
Graduate degree in marketing, communications, or similar
Minimum of three years relevant digital marketing experience
First-hand use of digital analytics platforms, including GA4 and Google Search Console, and SEO rank tracker tools
Strong analytical skills to data-mine insights and act accordingly
Experience of content creation including SEO copy, creation of organic social material and email marketing
Experience of using web content management systems (CMS)
Ideally experience with email marketing software and social media management platforms
Strong written English skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to the audience
Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and prioritise workload effectively
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
